I really enjoyed my stay, especially the delicious meals by Minerva. The fresh coffee was a great perk in the mornings! Clean, comfortable rooms made my stay even better.

missingWrote a review on Dec 29welcoming lobbyconvenient locationpoor cleanliness
The lobby features local charm, with snacks for college students, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Proximity to UVA allows easy access to campus activities, making it a prime spot for families moving in or visiting.
The cleanliness needs serious attention. I found mold in the shower and old, scratchy linens that didn’t stay on the bed. The room reeked of cigarette and weed smoke, indicating poor maintenance. Additionally, the bistro hours are sporadic, leaving limited dining options when hunger strikes. Also, there’s a parking fee that felt like a surprise for a place already charging a premium for the stay.

During our five-night stay, we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast options—great eggs and crispy bacon—plus the chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights. However, the lighting in the vanity area was quite dim, making it hard to prepare each day. Would definitely return!

In my wife’s opinion, having more kid-friendly dining options would enhance the experience for families.
